Costello van Steenis is the PFL middleweight champion.
He won the inaugural middleweight title against Johnny Eblen at PFL Champions Series 2 on July 19, 2025, by rear-naked choke with seconds left in the fifth round. The one defense is a third-round knockout of Fabian Edwards at PFL Madrid on March 20, 2026.
Eblen later won an interim title after van Steenis withdrew from the July 18, 2026 rematch. The undisputed belt stays with him on this page. The disqualification win is an illegal kick against Marcin Naruszczka at PLMMA 72. All three losses are decisions.
He was born in the Netherlands and raised in Spain, and he fights out of Andorra la Vella. PFL lists the camp as MMA Vlaardingen, and the career notes say he now trains at Kill Cliff FC in Florida.
