Mackenzie Dern is the UFC women's strawweight champion.
She won the vacant women’s strawweight title against Virna Jandiroba at UFC 321 on October 25, 2025, by unanimous decision. The one defense is Gillian Robertson at UFC 330 on August 15, 2026, also by decision.
All eight submissions came by joint lock or choke, five of them armbars or rear-naked chokes. The five losses are four decisions and a second-round stoppage by Jéssica Andrade at UFC 295.
She started Brazilian jiu-jitsu at her father’s academy at three, and the UFC lists her camp as Megaton Dias BJJ. She is a black belt, won two black-belt world titles, a no-gi world title, and an ADCC title, and fought professionally in jiu-jitsu before she turned pro in MMA in 2016.
